Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a per diem basis - 5 hours a week minimum, max 20 hours a week. As a Nurse Practitioner at FemGevity, you will play a crucial role in delivering virtual healthcare services to women experiencing the various stages of menopause. Your expertise will contribute to providing evidence-based care, personalized treatment plans, and support that will positively impact our patients' overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess their medical history, symptoms, and concerns related to menopause.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and order relevant diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include hormone therapy, lifestyle modifications, and other appropriate interventions.
- Provide education and guidance to patients regarding menopause, its effects, and potential treatment options.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, and nutritionists, to offer holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation.
- Stay informed about the latest research, developments, and best practices in menopause management.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license or equivalent in any of the following locations NY, NJ, CA, TX, FL, MI, PA
- Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Family Nurse Practitioner or relevant specialization is preferred.
- Experience in women's health, gynecology, or endocrinology is a plus.
- Proficiency in conducting virtual healthcare visits and using telemedicine platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong patient-provider relationships.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
